As a Chirstmas present to the Ma and Pa I took them to Polpetto. An Italian restaurant situated above the French House pub in Soho. The food is served in a similiar manor tapas, ordering multiple dishes per head were everyone gets a taste of each. The restuarant itself is tiny, with a capacity of roughly 15-18 tables it gets very busy, very quickly. The whole atmosphere makes you feel like you've stumbled across a hidden gem. Which in Polpetto's case you actually have.
To enter the restaurant you have to go up the narrow staircase from the pub below. Entering the restaurant you are greeted by the staff, all of whom are very friendly and geniune who then show you to your seat. If your lucky enough to get one that is. The food was great, especially the seafood dishes, and the pancotta for dessert was big hit with and Mooty.. haha
Polpetto- My new favourite restaurant, even if it is a bit pricey. Going again on the 19th!
